In God We Trust

(continued from the Home page)
I know this is a hard truth for many, but in fact, it was our American Statesmen themselves who actually helped to disperse the Bibles throughout the land. It isn't any wonder if you never knew this fact, because in our public school system we were never taught this most (reverential) truth. The disregard for God's principles have sent America on a path of immoral destruction. We see it every day and at an alarming rate, the very fabric of America's allegiance to God that was once sacredly sealed within the walls of history, slowly scraped away by radical socialistic groups whose purpose is to demoralize her. It would be good for all Americans to reflect upon the words of our twenty-seventh President, Woodrow Wilson who said: "A nation which does not remember what it was yesterday, does not know what it is today nor what it is trying to do. We are trying to do a futile thing if we do not know where we came from or what we have been about."
No one, absolutely no one, can dispute the fact that America's Constitution was designed to perpetuate a "Christian" Order. Such as, the importance of the Bible as evidenced by the words of our country's following Statesmen. John Quincy Adams: The first and almost the only Book deserving of universal attention is the "Bible". Andrew Jackson: Go to the Scriptures....the joyful promises it contains will be a balsam to all your troubles. Abraham Lincoln: All the good from the Savior of the world is communicated through this Book; but for the Book we could not know right from wrong. All the things desirable to man are contained in it. Calvin Coolidge: The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country. Woodrow Wilson: The Bible....is the one supreme source of revelation of the meaning of life, the nature of God and spiritual nature and need of men. It is the only guide of life which really leads the spirit in the way of peace and salvation.
Now! I ask you today where are these Honorable Men? Where are the men who stood strong on what they believed in and were not afraid and more importantly, were not ashamed to use words like the Bible, or mention the word, Savior in their speech or text? Such as the prophetic words that adorn the Jefferson Memorial by the Honorable man himself who said: God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever. (please refer to the Chronicles page) |
